At the community and country level, there is a false sense of security built into the existing emergency planning process which occurs when these entities think they have a plan in place to mitigate natural and human-made disasters. But, as we have witnessed on so many occasions multiple gaps in planning become obvious after a catastrophic event, and hundreds of thousands of people suffer needlessly while the political leadership struggle to create new plans or fix the existing ones.

PCP was originally created to assist communities and countries to plan for peace and conflict using international best practices, which eliminates planning gaps and reduces suffering. Our unique approach positions PCP as the planner and implementer of choice capable of responding to our client emergency needs, with both infield emergency and national level support.
